As Business Development Associate, you are a key team member promoting our business and brand. You are responsible for proactively generating sales and cultivating customer relationships. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Position Summary/Purpose
Full time position:
Promote Rainbow International Restoration of NE Kansas business and name on a local level per guidance of Office Manager.
Assist with customer retention by exceeding their expectations through follow up contact and through the accurate communication of customer information.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
·       Increase sales through building relationships with current and potential customers
·       Promote brand awareness by attending local networking events
·       Identify new customer base and propose marketing strategies
·       Develop and maintain a working knowledge of core services and procedures
·       Perform sales calls to target referral prospects
·       Attend team meetings and present pertinent information (Top 40, top sources monthly, positive review feedback, etc)
·       Assist in developing localmarketing materials
·       Inventory “swag” items and brainstorm for new, interesting pieces to share with customers and agents
·       Complete sales calls to insurance agencies (monthly)
·       Maintain customer/insurance agency database
·       Ensure referral source is captured in customer record in Fusion

 Additional Duties and Responsibilities

·       Send review request to customers weekly and respond promptly to feedback
·       Provide back up support in the absence of front office personnel including but not limited to answering phones, customer service, coordinating scheduling, housekeeping etc.
·       Assist with pack out/cleaning of contents as needed
·       Assist in collection of accounts receivable

Working Relationships and Scope

·       Work closely with Office and Project Managers to remain current on active job status and progress to keep customers and referral sources updated on progress if necessary

·       Discipline and Follow-up - Demonstrates a disciplined approach to sales. Strong on follow-up and follow-through. Leverages time effectively to obtain the best return on their efforts. Self-starter and accustomed to working from sales plans and reports.
·       Dependability – The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
·       Aggressive – Constantly on the lookout for new contacts and sales opportunities. Studies and applies new sales techniques and technology.
·       Technology – The individual uses typical communication devices to effectively speed communication and appropriately utilizes company-approved customer contact management (CRM), standard word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of work performed.

 
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·       Education and Experience
Associate degree in business, marketing, or related field with bachelor’s degree preferred, or two-four years of experience with relationship selling to executives and entrepreneurs.

·       Selling Skills
Understands and effectively applies the concepts of differentiation and adding value. Knows customer markets, the issues and challenges they face, and can translate that information into useful selling strategies. Builds long-term relationships that drive increased revenue and demand for services.

·       Mathematical Skills
Strong math skills – Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to analyze performance against business plans and industry benchmarks.

·       Computer Skills
Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software including enterprise systems (Fusion) and MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions

·       This position is predominantly carried out in an office environment. Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is expected.
·       Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
