A Day in the Life of a Field Technician

As the Field Technician, I will provide emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to residential and commercial clients. Due to the nature of work, the job sites will often be dirty, possibly cold or wet, and sometimes unsanitary. Because this is a 24-hour 365-day industry I am available for emergency work after hours and on weekends including on call shifts and I am willing to travel locally as business needs dictate. I am willing to pass a "fit test" for proper fit of a respirator (which could involve the shaving of facial hair) because all technicians attire must meet OSHA requirements for the specific job sites.

I will provide physical labor at building, construction projects, demolition sites, and provide water, fire, mold remediation processes, and potential biohazard projects. I will provide Set up of equipment for drying structures, load and unload building materials, machinery and tools, clean and prepare job sites while maintaining a safe environment, and complete crew sheets for the daily work performed in the absence of a Lead Field Technician. I will also provide vehicle maintenance - cleaned, stocked, and ready for response, oversee labor subcontractors on the job site and work to be completed, and stay flexible to assist the team when needed on all service lines

Qualifications:

* Valid driver's license
* Must pass DOT physical requirements
* May be required to have a DOT certification to operate certain vehicles
* Restoration experience is preferred, but not required

Special Position Requirements

* Must be available for Emergency work after hours and on weekends including on call shifts.
*Must be willing to travel locally, as business needs dictate.
*Due to the nature of work, the job sites will often be dirty, possibly cold or wet, and sometimes unsanitary. Every effort is made to protect our employees through the use of PPE and other safety precautions.
*Must pass a "fit test" for proper fit of a respirator (which could involve the shaving of facial hair).
*All technicians attire must meet OSHA requirements for the specific job sites.
*A technician must wear company approved attire.
*Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50lbs.
*Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, kneeling.

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
