CONSTRUCTION FIRE CHASER (SALES POSITION)

Onkar Builders Inc is looking for a motivated and assertive Fire Chaser to join our dynamic Construction team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners, businesses, and emergency personnel after fire-related incidents. Your mission is to secure fire and smoke Construction projects by building relationships with property owners, insurance adjusters, and first responders. This role combines field work, sales, and crisis management with high earning potential for top performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fire events with an app that alerts when there is a fire.
- Respond promptly to fire scenes, typically within minutes or hours of the event, to establish on-site presence.
- Approach affected property owners with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-based mindset.
- Educate clients on fire damage restoration/Construction services, insurance claim processes, and emergency response steps.
- Build and maintain relationships with first responders, fire departments, police, insurance adjusters, and property managers.
- Generate leads and close contracts for fire, smoke, and water damage restoration projects.
- Document property damage and initial scope of work for estimators and project managers.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Attend local networking events, firehouse visits, and industry mixers to grow your referral network.
- Keep accurate records of leads, site visits, and communications in CRM or company database.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Proven sales, customer service, or emergency response experience (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, unpredictable environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. (May be able to have a company vehicle)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, or emergency services.
- Knowledge of property insurance claims and estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, symbility).
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.

- 8 hour shift (this is not a regular 8 hour shift, this will vary )
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Nights as needed
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Compensation: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
