Summary/Objective The BDA/Account Manager will create and build client relationships for the purpose of increasing the number of contracted projects. This role assists in developing and facilitating the relationships, communication and documentation between clients and our company.
Basic Job Expectations
  1. Production– Produce additional market share, achieve goals set by your manager/company leaders, increase sales revenue and number of transactions, penetrate existing accounts and increase the bottom line.
  2. Quality – Focus on the right products and markets as directed by your manager/company leaders, as well as have an understanding and appreciation for the company’s profit margin.
  3. Expense control– With a healthy understanding and appreciation for the company’s profit margin, your goal should be to monitor spending against budgets for the purpose of not just controlling expenses but also increasing in the areas with greatest potential for return.
  4. No hassle – You should be able to self-manage, reporting in the way that is determined by your manager to allow them to manage you comfortably and profitably through a system of checks and balances, decreasing the need or potential for micro-managing.
 
Essential Functions
  1. Develop and execute against detailed plan for lead development, lead management and customer relationship management, including ongoing reporting to your manager for accountability and improvement.
  2. Assist business development efforts developing project plans, defining scope of work, timeline and responsibilities as well as following up with all involved parties for prompt completion of any deliverables.
  3. Communicate to operations any negotiations/proposals. Convey expectations set forth for each responsible party, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes and expectations.
  4. Collaborate with clients and internal resources to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements for greater success/impact.
  5. Track and report on the status of all proposal components, leads and projects in progress.
  6. Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities at this time.
 
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
 
Physical Demands This job does not have any specific requirements other than basic physical skills required for walking, standing, sitting and communicating under normal daily circumstance.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to work 40 hours each week, though additional hours may be required in order to successfully complete tasks and weekly goals.
 
Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required for training and expansion into additional markets.
 
Education and Experience
  • BA/BS degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • Three to five years of industry sales experience preferred
  • Familiarity with computers, office software and phone systems
 
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be a US citizen and pass a formal background check and regular drug testing.
