Job Summary:

The Contents Restoration Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contents restoration projects, including the assessment, restoration, and inventory management of customers’ personal property. This role involves leading a team of technicians, coordinating job logistics, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Production Manager ensures that all content restoration processes are efficient, timely, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    • Oversee the entire contents restoration process from initial assessment through completion, including scheduling, logistics, and execution.
    • Manage multiple contents restoration projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with other departments such as Mitigation and Reconstruction to streamline project timelines and avoid delays.
    • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements, restoration protocols, and company SOPs.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Contents Restoration Technicians.
    • Provide training on contents restoration techniques, proper inventory handling, and safety practices.
    • Assign tasks, monitor job progress, and evaluate team performance.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Customer Interaction:

    • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication regarding project scope, progress, and expectations.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide detailed explanations of the restoration process and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Inventory & Documentation:

    • Supervise and ensure accurate inventory management of customer belongings, including packing, cleaning, restoring, and returning items.
    • Ensure all contents are properly categorized, photographed, and logged in the job management system (Dash/Fusion).
    • Work with insurance adjusters and clients to document damage and submit reports in a timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all contents restoration work meets or exceeds industry standards and company guidelines.
    • Conduct final inspections and quality checks on restored items.
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent future claims.
  • Operational Efficiency:

    • Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce project costs.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for cleaning supplies, storage, and restoration equipment.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for contents restoration projects and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards (OSHA, IICRC, etc.).
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and audits to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
    • Maintain proper use and maintenance of all restoration equipment, including cleaning machines, ozone chambers, and drying rooms.
Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
    • IICRC Certification in Contents Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contents restoration or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Proficiency in job management software (Dash/Fusion, Next Gear).
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to assess and solve problems on-site.
    • Knowledge of industry standards, equipment, and best practices for contents restoration.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
    • Comfortable working in varying environments, including water-damaged, fire-damaged, and mold-affected properties.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods during restoration projects.
Work Environment:

  • This position may require work in warehouse environments, residential homes, and commercial buildings. The work environment may involve exposure to hazards such as chemicals, mold, and fire-damaged items. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required in certain environments.
Compensation:

  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
